Key Stage 1 Curriculum

Welcome to Key Stage One at Warmsworth Primary School

Our Key Stage One leader is our Deputy Headtacher, Miss Nithsdale. Miss Nithsdale is also our Inclusion leader and her roles include Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator too. 

We implement all the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum and beyond in Key Stage One at Warmsworth Primary School and have devised our own personalised curriculum to meet the needs of our children and community. 

In Key Stage One, our children have new opportunities; in Year 1 they have Forest Fridays and in Year 2 they have the opportunity to learn a new musical instrument, free of charge with a specialist peripeautetic teacher. This is in addition to all the exciting learning opportunities that they are used to in our Early Years Foundation Stage provision, including learning on trips and from  visitors and our own wonderful outdoor areas.
