Year 6 Holocaust Trip

Year 6 really enjoyed their thought-provoking visit to the Holocaust Museum.  They met a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust, Robert Norton, who told the children his life story.  The children listened intently and asked interesting questions.  They then went on 'The Journey' which told the story of a young Jewish boy called Leo.  The children discovered how his life changed dramatically during this time. 

Throughout the day, the over-arching theme was 'Tolerance'.  The children were reminded of the importance of treating others as you want to be treated and to always treat others fairly.
