Year 6 D.T - investigating gears

Year 6 had an enjoyable afternoon investigating gears.  They discovered that gears are toothed wheels.  Using the K-Nex, they had a go at building their own gear trains.  Can you identify which gear is the the driver gear, the follower gear or the idler gear?  Do you know which direction each gear will turn?
