Year 3 Roman Workshop - 12.1.22

A visitor from ‘Historic Workshops’ came to school to teach us all about what life was like in the Roman times. We took part in sessions about Roman soldiers and their armour, battle formations, the ‘Romanisation’ of Britain, the Roman marching pack, Roman board games and an archaeological dig with real artefacts. This was an extremely engaging start to our new history topic, and we paricularly enjoyed acting out a battle between the Celts and the Romans!
