Year 3 Percussion Concert at St George's Minster - 11.2.22

Year 3 attended a wonderful percussion concert led by Steven Moore at St George's Minister. We learnt about non-tuned percussion instruments, such as bongo drums, castanets and tambourines, as well as tuned percussion instruments, including a vibraphone and marimba (our personal favourites!) We have come away feeling particularly inspired by Steven's advice to the question everybody wanted an answer to: just how did he get so good at playing his instruments? Steven said that every single day since he was a young boy, he has practised playing for at least half an hour. He told us that he feels so lucky to spend each day doing what he truly loves, and he encouraged us all to do the same!
