Year 1EW World Book Day 3rd March 2022

Year 1 had fun celebrating WorldBook day.

We enjoyed a Kagan session where we shared our favourite book with our peers.  We talked about who we were dressed up, which book our character came from and why we had chosen this book.

We enjoyed being creative and drawing the character that we were dressed as.  We also wrote some sentences to describe our character - what they like to do, a description of their appearance, why we like this character etc.

During our computing session we used the program SoftEase to paint the character that we were dressed as.  In addition to this we added an audio file to our pictures where we used a phrase that this character might say to bring our pictures to life.  Finally we had a photo shoot where we all introduced ourselves to the class.
