Kodaly rhythms

In music, we have been learning about Kodaly rhythms.  We have practised clapping and saying them and have used some percussion instruments also.  We found a problem with using the perscussion instruments when we had to play a minim (which is worth 2 beats) because some of the perscussion instruments would not allow the sound to continue for two beats.  We solved the problem by finding instruments which did.  We had a great time.
