F2 beanstalk planting

As the children enjoyed learning about the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk we decided to plant our own beanstalks and see if they would grow as tall as Jack's did. We have checked on them today, 1 week after planting, and some are starting to grow already! We will be keeping track of the growth during the next term.
