F1 Butterflies May 23

The children had a wonderful surprise when they returned to school after the weekend.  They counted seven Painted Lady butterflies in the butterfly house.  They were given the chance to observe them and discuss how they had changed before setting them free in our school woodland area.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed observing and learning about their lifecycle.
